The library has gathered the histories of our communities together online. Burr Ridge, Darien, and Willowbrook have their own pages with articles about historical people, places, and events. Through partnerships with the Darien Historical Society, Flagg Creek Heritage Society, and the Village of Willowbrook, the library has also created collections of historical images on Flickr.   • Obituary Index, 1972-2012: Search obituaries for people who resided in or whose funeral services were held in Burr Ridge, Darien and Willowbrook. The index is updated throughout the year and published online annually.

  • Veterans History Project: Read over one hundred interviews recorded from area veterans as part of the Veterans History Project.
