Help Indian Prairie Library celebrate the National Day of Listening by interviewing a family member (father, mother, grandmother, family friend, etc.). Interviews last about 40 minutes. You do the talking while a trained volunteer operates the recording equipment. Walk out with a free CD of the interview while the library keeps a copy to preserve for future generations.

Grandma can talk for a lot more than 40 minutes you say? No problem. We will be offering interview times throughout the year on various themes. This week's theme is "family." Feel free to come back again.

The library's StoryShare interviews are inspired by StoryCorps which has clips of some interviews at http://storycorps.org/animation/.

Registration begins November 1 by calling the Adult Ask Us Desk at 630-887-8760 ext. 239.
