Reading Patch Club (Sept. 1, 2012-April, 2013)

patches

Students in grades 1–8 can read during the school year to earn 12 cool patches! It's easy. Sign up at the Kids & Teens Ask Us desk and get your reading logs. Choose a genre from the list and start reading! Once you've read 10 books in the genre you've selected, bring your log back to the library to collect your patch. Patches: Adventure, animals, award winners, fantasy, graphic novels, horror, historical fiction, humor mystery, read to me, science fiction, sports. You can sign up for the club at any time - the program runs through April 30, 2012 before it will take a break for summer. If you signed up last year, you can start a new genre or pick up where you left off last spring!

Read to Me Patches

Children in preschool and kindergarten can get patches, too! Listen to 50 books and get one of three Read To Me patches! Register and get a reading log at the Kids & Teens Ask Us Desk.
