IPPL's 2nd Annual Global Cardboard Challenge

Sat., Oct. 11, 11 a.m.
For all ages. A community re-creation project! Bring your imagination and your used cardboard boxes and build on the lawn with us. We will provide tape and paints. Drop in.

Family Reading Night

For all ages. Activities to celebrate reading as a family.

Family Movie: The LEGO Movie

Fri., Nov. 28, 10:30 a.m.
"Everything is awesome!" when you can share The LEGO Movie, LEGO fun, and popcorn at the library. Children under 8 years old must be with a caregiver.

Greening Your Home

Play to Learn Œ

Play is important . . . for everyone! Come play with your child in a fun and interactive way while encouraging learning in art, math, and science. DuPage Children's Museum will bring portable exhibits so you can discover learning through play! Geared toward ages 3–5 and their families. Siblings welcome.

ADD Just Doesn't Add Up!

For all parents. Learn how to assess, test for, and distinguish visual conditions that mimic or complicate ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). Presented by Clarendon Vision Development Center. Space is limited.

Say NO! to Bullying

Grades 3–6. The experts from PRO Martial Arts of Downers Grove will give kids the tools they need to say "no" to bullies. Space is limited.

 

JunctionThis year, we are going beyond books and reading and encouraging people to expand their horizons by attending programs. Join us at the Junction—IPPL Junction!—to learn something new, create from scratch, and share your knowledge with your neighbors. IPPL card-holders who participate in designated Junction programs will earn entries into our monthly and grand prize drawings, donated by the Friends of IPPL.
