National Center for the Study of Adult Learning and Literacy

A nonprofit international literacy organization that was formed by the 2002 merger of Laubach Literacy International and Literacy Volunteers of America.
Practice your English pronunciation and conversation skills guided by a volunteer from Literacy DuPage. The English Conversation Group meets at the library on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10 a.m.-noon.

You can make a difference by volunteering some of your time. The groups that help teach English in our area are constantly in need of volunteers. The ESL Collection helps people learning to read, speak, and understand English. The collection offers materials for both students and tutors and includes the following topics: English as a Second Language (ESL), grammar, reading comprehension, pronunciation, business English, vocabulary, culture, and more.
